System Specialist Manager
As the FORTNA On-site System Specialists Manager at your local DC, you lead the System Specialist team through mentoring, staffing, and training. You oversee the control room and related processes, ensuring alignment with all roles there. As an SME in Software, Infrastructure, and Controls Integration, with a solid understanding of Mechatronics and Operations, you handle all local tech support activities, including case management and RCA resolution. You work closely with the Site Operations Support Manager on system improvements and partner with the Maintenance Manager to troubleshoot and repair structural issues. Reporting to the On-site MHE Operations Director, you ensure the seamless integration and performance of advanced technologies at the DC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manager of the control room and processes.
- Leads, coaches, and develops employees.
- Responsible for technical support, case management, and RCA.
- Expert in software, infrastructure and control integration, mechatronics, and operations.
- Collaborates on system improvements with operations and maintenance support managers.
- Reports to the MHE Operations Director on-site.
- Manages department activities and results according to strategy.
- Collaborates on operational and tactical activities.
- Advises senior management on strategy.
- Ensures alignment with stakeholders and optimal conditions for the team.
- Connects teams for synergies and collaboration.
- Prepares and adjusts the budget, ensuring financial stability.
- Creates and manages KPIs and management reports.
- Direct reports include WES Engineer, LLC, SCADA, PLC, VFD, and advanced users.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Focus on processes and supporting the team in tool development.
- Ability to effectively handle escalations and manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities
- Accurate and good at structuring matters.
- Strong communication skills.
- Stress-resistant and proactive.
- Team player.
- Ability to understand various engineering procedures and functions.
- Fluent in Czech and English, German is an advantage.
