Technical Support Engineer Software
The Technical Support Engineer Software is responsible for providing optimal MHE support and high-quality on-site technical assistance. Key responsibilities include monitoring the WES software, guiding advanced users, and addressing incidents from the control room. The engineer identifies and corrects software exceptions, manages first-line incident response, and develops solutions during shifts. They collaborate with control room teams to streamline communication, evaluate network performance, and implement changes to WES menus and configurations. Additionally, the engineer handles system and software issues, maintains records, generates reports, and contributes to minor software changes. They ensure reliable network connectivity, monitor and analyze machine networks, troubleshoot problems, and implement security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and diagnose first-line WES incidents.
  • Understand system functionality to identify and resolve issues.
  • Maintain logs and create reports to identify root causes.
  • Collaborate with control room operations to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot machine networks and evaluate performance.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols and network enhancements.
  • Ensure reliable connectivity and manage backup server setups.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Software).
  • 2+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • Fully trained on WES technical stack, including H&M WMS, SCADA, LLC, and WES operations.
  • Proficient in SQL and Oracle.
  • Strong computer skills and technical understanding of software.
  • Fluent in Czech, proficient in English.
  • Service-oriented mindset.
  • Team player.
  • Good understanding of MHE and Client‘s (logistics) operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Stress-resistant and able to work in time-critical environments.
  • Experience in knowledge transfer and sharing.
  • Good communication skills.
